Two years after the 1929 killings, and the headline block explains them by removing everyone from the explanation. The wall is only a symbol. The feeling is laid to one man’s scheme.

And the Arabs are at first apathetic and then rise only because they believe the shrines are threatened — so their position is a mood, produced in them by a politician, about a thing they were mistaken about. The word for the mechanism is fanaticism.
