“Prime Minister Attlee told the House of Commons today that, ‘of all the outrages in Palestine, many and…’ As this house knows, Attlee continued, his majesty’s government are at this moment in… Terrorists bombed and shattered part of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, wrecking headquarters of the British Army and secretariat of the Palestine government and killing at least 50 persons.”
