Resolutions Set U.N. Stage for Vote on Zionism as Racism

Two pro-Palestinian resolutions passed: one stressing the right of Palestinians to return to their homes and property, 93 to 18; one calling for PLO participation in all UN Middle East deliberations, 101 to 8. The United States voted against both. The U.S. House of Representatives, 436 of its 437 members, asked the assembly to reject the resolution.
