A 49 to 24 percent plurality disapproved of the resolution, but 42 percent were either unsure or had not followed the event. Disapproval rose with education: 30 percent among those with eighth-grade schooling or less, 66 percent among college graduates. On a straight sympathy question between Israelis and Arabs, the margin was eight to one pro-Israel, up from five to one that summer.
