“I was shocked when the U.N. voted for a resolution stating that Zionism is racism… Zionism was started as a protection against racism, not to promote it.”

Nine days after the vote, a reader in Des Moines sets out the four courses he says were open to Jews after the Russian pogroms — assimilation, revolution, tradition, and Zionism — and answers the resolution with the fourth. His full street address is printed under his name.
