A reader answering the paper’s editorial of 12 November. He quotes Herzl’s diaries on spiriting "the penniless population across the border," Golda Meir’s "There was no such thing as Palestinians," Moshe Dayan at the Technion on Jewish villages built on the sites of Arab villages, and the Red Cross count of 254 dead at Deir Yassin. "What is terrible about the Zionists is that the creation of the State of Israel occurred at the expense of the Palestinian people."
