Everything else in this archive was written by someone paid to write it. This was not. Forty-two times between 1930 and 2021, an ordinary reader wrote to a newspaper about Palestine and the newspaper printed it — with their name, usually with their town, and once with a street address.
This is one section of Covering Palestine, an archive of 1262 newspaper clippings about Palestinians printed in 512 papers between 1799 and 2023. Researched and assembled by Maria Robles. Nothing here was printed after 6 October 2023.
