“What an irony! The whole world condemns Russia for holding its Jews captive until large sums of money are paid to the state, and now here is Israel doing the exact same thing to some of its Jews. Where are all the voices of protest? This is simple racism when a state recruits one man from Argentina to come to Israel just because he is Jewish, but refuses to allow native Palestinians to return because they are not Jewish. Such is the irrationality of creating a ‘Jewish’ state.”

A reader in Worcester answering two syndicated columns the paper had run about Zionist agencies recruiting Jews out of Argentina. A year before the vote he states the argument in one sentence, as a matter of who is allowed to arrive and who is not.
