During the last 20 years of Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza, the Israelis used all possible methods to liquidate the Palestinian national movement. More than 300,000 Palestinians have been in and out of Israeli jails, experiencing ill-treatment including humiliation and physical and psychological torture. More than half of the Arab lands have been confiscated. Thousands of houses have been demolished and thousands of Palestinians have been deported.
