At least 244 Palestinians and three Israelis have died in the anti-Israel violence... Palestinians and United Nations relief officials said soldiers commandeered one ambulance attempting to enter Jabalia refugee camp under cover, while Israeli forces stopped another ambulance and began beating a 19-year-old Jabalia man who had been shot in the thigh... soldiers shot and killed two prisoners Aug. 16 following a riot by hundreds of inmates.
