2A 0G THE Palestinian doctor, kin shot on West Bank Zionist group takes blame for attack New York Times News Service JERUSALEM - An Arab doctor was shot and seriously wounded on Thursday night as he was traveling In a car with his sister and her baby 10 miles south of here in the occu- pled West Bank, the police and the army sald yesterday.
An unknown group called the Zi- onist Avengers called the Israell ar- my radio and the state television of- fices and clalmed responsibility for the attack, the Israell radio reported.
The attack occurred a day after the carly release of three of the last Imprisoned members of a 25-mem- ber Jewish underground that at- tacked and killed Arab civillans and dignitaries in the early 1980s.
