“There is the local press, both Arabic and Jewish, more vehement in its denunciation of the plan as time goes on, and it appears that all responsible Arab and Jewish bodies and persons are, or rather seem, against it.” She calls the proposed state a “waistcoat pocket state.”

A woman filing from Haifa for a Baltimore paper, reporting that both the Arabic and the Jewish press rejected partition. There was an Arabic press to report on.
