Palestinian Killed

Transcribed from the clipping
The following article has been altered by Israeli military censorship. HEBRON, Israeli-Occupied West Bank, March 22 (AP) — Violent fighting broke out today between Palestinians and Israeli soldiers in Hebron, and Arab journalists said a Palestinian was killed by army gunfire. The Palestinian, Hunduk Zahdeh, 34 and pregnant, died instantly, the journalists said.
The Israel radio said dozens of Palestinians were wounded. The fighting began when a curfew was lifted briefly so residents could buy food. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency also said Israeli soldiers had seized two United Nations officers in a refugee camp northwest of Nablus, handcuffed them and dragged them out of the camp.
A spokesman for the agency, Sandro Tucci, said the officers were arrested after “observing an incident between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian civilians, including women and children.” Elsewhere in the West Bank, Israeli soldiers wounded five Palestinian children, including a 6-month-old girl, during confrontations with stone-throwing youths, Arab reports said.
In the Gaza Strip, Arabs stabbed two Israelis on a farm, seriously injuring one of them, the army radio said. It said that one attacker was captured.

The item is credited (AP) in the dateline. — This is a subhead on a roundup page, set under a short rule, not a standing headline of its own. The item above it ends mid-testimony and is a separate story.
