Israel Frees 30 Arab Women In Long-Delayed Peace Move
Joel Greenberg

Transcribed from the clipping
“The rest of the women refused to be freed until all of them were released.”
Context added by this archive
Sixteen months after they refused, the rest are let out. Suad al-Jubeh, 23, of East Jerusalem, is met by her father Muhammed. The refusal in 1995 and the release in 1997 are the same story, and the archive now holds both ends of it.
