Communists Urge Bedouins to Block Acquisition of Land. For belonging to an illegal organ- ¡ration, Bar Nash, head of the Pales- tinian "Red Aid," a Communist in- stitution, was recently sentenced to pay a fine of £20 or to serve 100 days in jail, reports The Jewish Tele- graphio Agency from Jcrusalem.

Two members of the Red Aid Com- mittee received the option of sev- enty-five days in jail or a fine of f15. In a Communist proclamation cir- culated in Palestine the Bedouins are urged to block the acquisition of lands purchased by the Jewish Na- tional Fund.

The proclamation asks the Bedouins who occupy the area r'ecently acquired by the Jewish Na- tional Fund with funds made avail- able by the Canadian Zionist Organ- ization not to leave the land. It calls upon all Palestine members of the Communist Party to mobilize to aid the Bedouins in their attempt to hold the land. The Bedouins have
