Bedouins Raid Israeli Arabs

Transcribed from the clipping
“Bedouins from the Sinai desert are reported to have shot a child and stolen three horses in a foray across the border last night when they attacked Israeli Arab tribes southeast of Beersheba. Local Arabs reported to Israeli military authorities that the raiders were of the Azame tribe, expelled from Israel three months ago.”
Context added by this archive
Five lines, and the term is in the headline and the body both. The last clause is the one to read twice: the raiders were the Azazme,
expelled from Israel three months earlier. The paper prints the expulsion as the explanation for the raid and then moves on. The expulsion itself is not the story anywhere in this archive.
