2 dead, 5 hurt from 2 bombs in Jerusalem

Transcribed from the clipping
Editor's Note: This story has been censored by the Israeli military censor. JERUSALEM (AP) — Two bombs exploded in Jerusalem on Sunday, killing two Arab teen-agers and wounding five persons in the worst terrorist attack in the city in 18 months.
In Beirut, the Popular Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a Marxist guerrilla organization, claimed responsibility for the bombings and said they were in retaliation for Israeli air strikes in South Lebanon last week.
(A communique from the PDF said “a special group working inside occupied Palestine planted the timed charge that exploded as planned, killing and wounding several Zionists and inflicting heavy damage in surrounding buildings.”) The first explosion occurred near an Arab school in the Old City’s Christian quarter.
The blast ripped through the upper floor of the two-story building, toppling one wall and spewing rubble into the street. A student was killed and four other persons wounded, two seriously, police said. As authorities sifted through the debris for clues, another bomb exploded about three hours later in the Jewish suburb of Talpiot across the street from a nursery school.
An Arab teen-ager was rushed to a hospital but died of his wounds. Another man was injured.
How this transcription was made
The whole article as printed; the clipping ends with "Another man was injured." and the column is not continued anywhere on the scan. The bold Editor's Note sits above the dateline and is recorded in `censorship` rather than inside the excerpt. No passage on this page dwells on graphic physical detail, so nothing was compressed. The paper abbreviates the Popular Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine as "the PDF" on second reference; kept as set. A narrow sliver of a neighboring column survives at the extreme right edge of the scan, about two letters wide and unreadable; it is a different story and is not transcribed. — Masthead strip at the top of the page reads "4a FORT WORTH STAR-TELEGRAM [small logo cut] MONDAY MORNING, NOVEMBER 14, 1977", set in full capitals. The page hyphenates STAR-TELEGRAM; Maria's label writes "Fort Worth Star Telegram" without the hyphen. The hyphenated form is what the page prints. — Masthead reads "MONDAY MORNING, NOVEMBER 14, 1977". November 14, 1977 was a Monday, and the body dates the bombings to "Sunday", the day before. Maria's label agrees.
