“An Israeli tank fires at targets in the southern Gaza Strip from a position along Israel’s side of the border with Gaza. Medical officials there said more than 80 Palestinians, including 21 children, were killed and 140 injured in the ground offensive.” Sebastian Scheiner, Associated Press.
