Palestine Police Look For Jewish Terrorists

“Palestine police and troops pressed an intensive hunt through frontier settlements tonight for Jewish terrorists blamed by the police for the blowing up of eight bridges last night, and it was reported reliably that the population of one entire Jewish settlement was arrested and held for investigation… The clash with the Arabs occurred during celebrations of the escape from exile in France of the Mufti of Jerusalem, spirtual leader of Palestine’s Arabs.”

The same Associated Press story as the Stamford printing, a day later. One paper headlined the mass arrest; this one headlined the manhunt. “spirtual” is the paper’s spelling.
