“Palestinian residents of Arab East Jerusalem struggle with Israeli police officers yesterday after the officers tried to break up a Palestinian march commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba, their uprooting after Israel’s creation 50 years ago. Clashes erupted as Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza commemorated the Nakba.
